This review is for the Powdersville location. First let me say that I've visited other pediatric offices and have always waited. Our wait here was never more than 20 min tops. I've seen Dr. Lynch & Dr. Sanders. I preferred Dr. Lynch - she's more personable. The service we received was very basic. No one ever went above & beyond. My child had feeding issues from day 1; the response I got was that "she'll grow out of it". No real suggestions for improvement. As a new mom, this is NOT what you want to hear. You want your baby to eat! Once, my daughter was violently ill – starting in the early morning. I had to call the office 4 times (once/hr) before a nurse finally called back. I had to take my daughter to a different office because they wouldn’t see her until the end of the day. I expected more – even reassurance would’ve been nice! As for the office staff – some of the most unfriendly people I've encountered in ANY doctor's office (with the exception of maybe 1 or 2). They just have "cold", uncaring attitudes. Not what you’d expect in a pediatric office. Once last thing - I could NEVER speak to my doctor on the phone; even when specifically requested. I understand the value of a doctor's time, but as a patient, paying for a service, I expected more. Overall, my opinion is that this office provides average medical care with below average customer service.

I interviewed several practices before choosing CMC. Yes, sometimes the wait is longer than it should be.

Once my baby needed to be admitted IMMEDIATELY to NICU, leaving several families in the waiting room past their times. The doctor didn't leave me sitting in a room wondering what will happen next, but stayed with me until arrangements were made. Perhaps the person complaining should think about why a doctor might be delayed.

Staff and doctors here are very thorough and worth waiting for.

If time is a big factor, let the staff know you'd prefer a doctor who keeps a tight schedule. Just please don't ask a bunch of questions the office didn't schedule time for the doctor to answer - you might keep me and my child waiting.

This place is expensive and they don't care about how long you have to wait "past" your appointment time. I say "one or the other". You charge MORE than other doctors and make good on appointment times OR charge less and take your time.
My child had burned hand one of those accidents you pray will never happen. I called ahead and they told me they would be expecting me. We waited and waited in the waiting room and then we waited and waited in the exam room. I had a friend tag along and she could tell you it's the truth. If the wait alone wasn't degrading enough the doctor gave me a talk about how children handle pain in a "different way". I guess that was to make up for how long we had to wait.
As far as the doctors are concerned, that depends on who you see. Some are really nice and some just don't care.

Numerous pediatricians on call at one time. All very friendly and intelligent. All good with children and explain procedure throughly to parents or guardians.
